I Could Not Make Myself …

I couldn’t make myself not care anymore. I tried to ignore people who drive me a little crazy sometimes. People who are full of advise are usually easy to ignore. Those who are homeless, we’d like to forget. Men and women who live in ways we don’t agree with, are easy to turn from. 

When background stories of men and women were revealed to me; I then could not completely walk away. Could I really stay attached to their lives? It is often very easy to walk away from those who always take and do not give.

Some souls are controlling and bossy and I normally will not take that for one minute. Maybe I am learning more about compassion and understanding. Ask God for something and he may just give it to you! It often takes patience but that can come too. Whether holding addictions of alcoholism, drugs, nicotine, gossip, racial spew, pornography or hatred; these people require patience and assistance to heal. When they don’t want help, it’s difficult to care.

Let’s grow, stretch and yearn for more connection and less distance.
