….we thanked God for yesterday?
Would we hear birds chirping? Would there be sunshine? Rain? Clouds? Trees? Our minds and hearts? How about our family or friends?
Think about love, goodness, kindness, compassion. The world would be a different place if we were fortunate to have people here. Are we thankful for those loved ones in our lives?
I try to turn the lights on when the electricity is out. I take it for granted, along with many other things. For instance; food, shelter, cars, fuel, my parents, my friends, those who support me, and for the abilities and gifts provided to me. I try to remember to be thankful everyday but there is so much goodness, I cannot even speak a small portion of my blessings.
You decide who and what you should be thankful for every day. Imagine your life without nature, people, health and wellness or a strong mind and spirit. Imagine that there was no way to grow food, no seed and no harvest.
The lists can be miles long. Be thankful. Show gratitude. Pass it forward to others.
Love while you can. Smile at someone else. Give care and understanding everywhere you look. bloom.
