When I have money left on a gift card - and it may only be a few dollars, I often turn around and give the card to the person behind me. They are always shocked and excited. What smiles!
It is a feeling unmatched, these random acts of kindness. You’ll feel great when you try it and you’ll want to do it again and again. I love it.
Although a few dollars may not always make someones day or turn their attitude around to being genuinely happy, they are overjoyed because of the gesture toward them. It surprises me how shocked they are. It’s sad to say that it is so unexpected.
